Experience and Expertise

One of his major achievements in Survey Research Malaysia (SRM) was conducting the first census of small-scale manufacturing industries survey for the Ministry of Trade and Industry to assess the number of SMEs in the country in 1990.

Furthermore, during his stint in the telecommunication industry, Amerizal and his sales team managed to secure the first high-speed 10Mbps SDSL broadband customers in Malaysia. Similarly, he successfully implemented the 1st channel management strategies and program in the company with major PABX and Key-phone system vendors such as Ericsson, Nortel, Alcatel, Luccent, NEC, and Panasonic.

In 2000, he was one of the Management Team members to be appointed by the company to attend a two-week Thunderbird Executive Education Program entitled “Global Telecommunications Management Program” in the prestigious Thunderbird School of Global Management at Arizona State University, U.S.A.

While he was attached to a local branding and marketing consultant, Amerizal project managed the overall brand audit of Lolla’s disposable diapers through market research studies (quantitative and qualitative) across several cities and towns in Indonesia.

Apart from managing the company, Amerizal is also a Director and Business Advisor to Zesty Solutions Sdn. Bhd., a company currently operating a café and catering services. His role is to advise the business to create new strategies and networks and also to assist them to work through any operational issues, as well as share inputs, and open doors with partners and stakeholders.
